Alex Petratos is a drummer, band leader and composer based in Hamburg, Germany. His wealth of experience in the fields of swing, bebop and avant garde music (as well as in punk, folk and even classical music) informs and inspires his vision as an improvising musician, with a unique creative vision. His current project "Strings and Lutes" combines the honest and soulful sonorities of his melodic disposition, along with elements of improvisation and interaction with his fellow musicians.
